The Tiffin Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts (TFAA) is committed to creating meaningful connections between artists, audiences, and our community. Beyond the performance itself, we offer a variety of opportunities for audiences to learn, engage, and participate in the creative process.
Through conversations, educational programs, and interactive experiences, TFAA strives to make the arts accessible, welcoming, and enriching for everyone.
These complimentary presentations feature artists, directors, scholars, and local experts who share insights about the story, music, themes, and creative process behind the performance. You’ll gain fascinating context and behind-the-scenes perspectives that bring new layers of meaning to what unfolds on stage.
Whether you’re a longtime arts enthusiast or attending your first performance, these conversations offer a welcoming way to connect with the art and the artists who bring it to life.
Pre-Show Talks are free for ticket holders and take place in the TFAA Arts Center lobby or designated gathering space, unless otherwise noted.
Arrive early and join us one hour before select performances for engaging Pre-Show Talks designed to enrich your experience and deepen your connection to the production.

Following select performances, audiences are invited to remain after the show for Post-Show Talkbacks with members of the cast, creative team, or guest speakers.
These informal conversations allow audiences to:
Ask questions about the production
Learn about the artistic process
Hear directly from the performers and creators
Discuss themes explored in the performance
Talkbacks create meaningful dialogue between artists and audiences and help deepen appreciation for the work presented on stage.
TFAA is proud to provide opportunities for audiences to connect directly with the artists who bring performances and exhibitions to life.
Select events may include Meet the Artist sessions, receptions, or informal conversations where guests can learn more about the creative process, artistic inspiration, and the stories behind the work.
These events help foster a strong connection between artists and the community.
Education and community engagement are central to the mission of TFAA. Through partnerships with local schools, universities, and community organizations, we offer programs designed to introduce new audiences to the arts and provide deeper learning opportunities.
These initiatives may include:
Student workshops and educational presentations
Artist visits to classrooms and community programs
Special student matinees or educational performances
Community conversations exploring themes from performances and exhibitions
These programs help build the next generation of artists, audiences, and creative thinkers.
Through these programs and conversations, TFAA continues to expand opportunities for meaningful arts experiences throughout the region. Whether attending a performance, participating in a discussion, or meeting the artists, audiences play an essential role in bringing the arts to life.
We invite you to join us for these enriching experiences and discover new ways to connect with the arts.
