TFAA facilitates the funding and promotion of the creation, dissemination, and experience of arts for TMAC. TFAA also acts as an entity, investing in various genres, to increase the impact of its work by concentrating on community arts funding.

The Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission is dedicated to fostering the advancement and collaboration of the arts in the community by promotion of equal access and support of art engagement. Its goal is to advocate, educate, and promote the culture, creation, and celebration of the arts in Tiffin, Ohio.
Our efforts focus on bolstering resident-driven and TFAA-led initiatives that utilize creative practices to enhance communities throughout the region. Our commitment is reflected in our investment in community-based partners who prioritize inclusive, equitable, and sustainable strategies that incorporate creative practices.
TFAA offers valuable support to the community of artists by facilitating opportunities in the arts through two distinct approaches. Firstly, TFAA invests in discovery and exploration by promoting the creation of new works, developing emerging practices, and improving the sector's understanding through forums, research, critique, and fellowships. Secondly, TFAA focuses on strengthening the infrastructure of the arts by increasing overall capacity through planning, staffing, investment in artistic endeavors, and support.

Submissions of unique art designed for vinyl wraps to decorate traffic signal boxes placed throughout the community have been warmly received. Thus far, this project has undergone three phases and has resulted in a total of 18 wrapped boxes as of November 2022.
Starting in 2022, the Creative Citizen Award was established with the goal of highlighting and honoring those individuals who are making significant creative contributions to our community. The award acknowledges individuals who have made a notable creative impact and thanks them for their continuous inspiration and creativity over the years.
The community is invited to participate in enhancing the Downtown Tiffin area by submitting designs and concept art for the river walls and adjacent walking areas. Creative suggestions could range from sculptures placed on Frost Parkway, murals decorating the river walls, to specialized lighting or interactive works. If you possess an idea, we are eager to receive it and willing to provide assistance with its development.
TFAA is committed to promoting artistic engagement within communities, irrespective of age, skill level, or background. To achieve this, they provide funding and sponsor various events and programs that seek to create a more vibrant artistic environment. Their efforts also aim to enhance community education by stimulating a greater appreciation for art. This approach benefits both the immediate community and the surrounding areas.
